With regards to Proof of Residency and Address Verification, did you know that LA Flex documents will no longer be considered valid proof of residency /proof of address due to the current counter fraud issues surrounding these documents.
Anesco has therefore updated the list of evidence that can be accepted as proof of residency (PRES) and as address verification evidence (UBIL).
Please note that all installation addresses must be verified using either the VOA, SSA or Royal mail postcode finder.
All evidence must be dated within 15 months before the completion of the measure.
All owner-occupied properties will require proof of residency for the owner. In addition, if the customer is not the registered owner the HHEV declaration will be required (a template is located on dropbox).
Address Verification (UBIL) evidence list
- VOA: http://www.voa.gov.uk
- SAA: https://www.saa.gov.uk/
- Royal Mail Postcode finder: https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode
If property is not listed on VOA, SAA or royal mail the below can be used:
- A letter from a Local Authority
- Council Tax letter
- A screenshot from DWP data match
- Correct customer consent form must be provided
- A domestic utility bill – e.g. Gas, Electricity, Water, Telephone
- Must be an actual bill, not just a letter from the utility.
- A letter from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC);
- Correct customer consent form must be provided.
- A bank statement
- A copy of a UK driver’s license
