Jeremy Cross, head of legal at national energy efficiency solutions company Anesco, has been nominated for a top industry award.
Jeremy is in the running for In-house Lawyer of the Year. It is the third consecutive nomination Jeremy has received for the accolade, which is part of national awards held annually by industry publication The Lawyer that celebrate excellence in the profession.
Reading-based Anesco provides energy efficiency solutions to homeowners, local authorities, housing associations and businesses. The company was named the UK’s fastest growing private company in 2013 by Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and has been recognised as the second fastest growing cleantech in Europe.
As head of legal, Jeremy (pictured left) is responsible for advising on all legal matters across the business. He commented: “I am delighted to again be nominated for In-house Law
yer of the Year. The energy efficiency industry is a fast developing sector, which presents a highly complex and unique challenge. As an evolving industry, we need to be able to react to the industry’s complex rules and legislation, balancing legal accuracy and protection with a strong commercial focus.”

Jeremy is one of seven finalists in the category of In-house Lawyer of the Year. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony being held in London on 25 June.
