National energy efficiency solutions provider, Anesco, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of energy services specialist Luke Mann.

Anesco, based in Aldermaston near Reading, works with businesses, local authorities, housing associations and homeowners to reduce their carbon emissions. The company was named the UK’s fastest growing private company by Sunday Times Fast Track in 2013 and again in 2014, and is recognised as one of the top 100 cleantech firms in the world.
Luke joins with over 15 years’ experience in de-centralised energy, both as an asset owner/operator and an energy services provider. He has been responsible for the construction and management of energy infrastructure assets for multiple end users and operators alike, including BT, BP, Vodafone, Fujitsu, Lehman Brothers, Deloitte, Verizon, Logicalis and Global Switch.
In the last three years, Luke has been involved with the development of funded energy solutions for customers within both the private and public sectors. These projects have included heat and power-led generation schemes and have utilised multiple technologies including CHP, biomass, solar PV, solar thermal and heat pumps.
“I am delighted to join the team at Anesco,” commented Luke. “The company continues to break new ground and to drive the industry forward through innovations such as the ESCO model.
“What really impresses me is the speed by which the business is able to react to capitalise on market change. This is matched by a strong and dedicated team, a clear focus on meeting customers’ needs and a high level of innovation across the entire business.”

One of my main priorities will be to build scale into the business to support to volume of demand that we are seeing from the market and to ensure that we meet all our customer obligations. ”
Adrian Pike, Anesco CEO, commented: “Luke brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with him that will greatly benefit the development and growth of our ESCO service. His understanding of such a broad range of technologies and his depth of experience in de-centralise energy provision, as both an owner/operator and provider, is a fantastic foundation on which to build.
