Anesco named in fastest growing companies list for fourth year running

National energy efficiency solutions company, Anesco, has been recognised as one of the UK’s fastest growing private companies for a fourth consecutive year.
The Reading-based company recorded annual sales growth over its latest three years of 96%, seeing it placed 19th within the prestigious Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track league table. In the last financial year sales hit £160million with an EBITDA of £21million. The team expects sustained growth will see turnover exceed £200million in 2016.
Anesco is recognised as one of the top 100 cleantech firms in the world and was recently named one of the top 250 firms in the country. The organisation first featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table in 2012, going on to take the top spot in both 2013 and 2014 – only the second time this has ever been achieved in the history of the awards.
Employing in excess of 150 permanent members of staff, and up to 600 contractors and 103 supply chain partners and logistics staff employed at any one time, the company continues to lead the UK’s energy efficiency sector.
Anesco commercial director, Delvin Lane, said: “It is an incredible achievement to feature in the Fast Track league table. To do so four years in a row is exceptional. Especially coming on the back of Anesco being named one of the UK’s top 250 companies for the first time, earlier this year.
“We are delighted and thankful to the whole team for their dedication and hard work in making it happen.”
He added: “As an organisation, we continue to break new ground and to drive the energy efficiency market forward through innovation and a unique commercial understanding. From being first to introduce commercial battery storage to the UK; to our ESCO model that enables organisations to upgrade facilities and housing stock at no cost; and our pioneering renewable asset monitoring and maintenance service AnescoMeter – we’re helping customers to transform their operations, save money, and all while reducing the country’s carbon emissions.”
Anesco has helped to take over 275,000 people out of fuel poverty. The renewable technologies it has deployed are now generating over 500MW of power.
