The senior team at Anesco has been named venture capital backed management team of the year, as part of the BVCA Management Team Awards 2014. The awards recognise teams who have made an outstanding contribution to the development and growth of a venture-backed company, demonstrating strategic vision and helping to successfully develop the business.
Reading-based Anesco is a national company dedicated to helping businesses, local authorities, housing associations and homeowners to reduce their carbon emissions. The company was named the UK’s fastest growing private company in 2013 by Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and has been recognised as the second fastest growing cleantech in Europe and as one of the top 100 cleantechs in the world.
In the last financial year Anesco beat ambitious targets to achieve turnover of £107million. It grew its team to in excess of 100 permanent employees, with up to 350 contractors employed at any one time and more than 30 supply chain partners and logistics staff.
