National energy efficiency solutions company, Anesco, has promoted Adrian Keen (pictured below) to Chief Financial Officer.
Formerly Director of Finance with the Reading based company, Adrian works closely with the senior management team to oversee all financial operations of the company.
A qualified chartered accountant, Adrian, 33, joined Anesco in 2011 with broad experience in both practice and industry. Previously he was financial controller at P2i Ltd, a global company within the field of nano-technology, which also enjoyed rapid growth.
Adrian was responsible for all day-to-day aspects of financial control, as well as managing relationships with external auditors, bankers and insurance agents and managing tax and compliance work for all companies in the group.
Prior to this Adrian worked as financial planner at Unipart Logistics, part of Unipart Group Plc, and as financial accountant for Sophos Plc, one of the largest vendors of anti-virus software in the world. He has also held the role of audit senior in the Information, Communications and Entertainment team at KPMG LLP.
Of his new role, Adrian said: “I’m delighted to have been promoted into the role of CFO at Anesco. The company has recorded substantial year-on-year growth for the past three years, and I have enjoyed the challenge of building a finance function that has kept up with the growth whilst continuing to produce relevant, accurate and timely information to the Executive Team. I look forward to playing a key role in the business going forward whilst delivering on our mission to reduce carbon emissions for homeowners, businesses and local authorities.”

Now employing in excess of 145 permanent members of staff and up to 500 contractors and 94 supply chain partners and logistics staff at any one time, the firm is on track to almost double in size this financial year, forecasting revenue of over £160m. Anesco provides local authorities, businesses and homeowners with a comprehensive energy service aimed at reducing their carbon emissions using audits through to recommendations, installations and capital funding plans.
