Business leaders are invited to receive some expert advice on building a £100m organisation, when the founder of the UK’s fastest growing private company reveals the secrets of his success.
Adrian Pike, CEO of Anesco, will be addressing delegates at the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Accelerated Business Growth Summit, being held in Birmingham on 12 November.
Anesco works with businesses, housing associations, local authorities and homeowners to reduce their carbon emissions. In 2013, Anesco was named the UK’s fastest growing private company and has been recognised as one of the top 100 cleantechs in the world.
Through its work, Anesco has helped to take over 65,000 people out of fuel poverty and the renewable technologies it has deployed are now generating enough power for more than 70,000 homes, saving over 101,000 tonnes of carbon per year.
“We’re delighted that Adrian Pike will be joining us at the Business Growth Summit,” said Steve Edwards FCCA, Chair of ACCA UK’s Corporate Sector Network Panel. “The success of Anesco will provide a great case study for ACCA’s corporate sector members to draw inspiration from. The summit will offer a fantastic opportunity for business leaders and entrepreneurs to take away some practical advice and ideas that they can apply to their own organisations.”
Adrian Pike commented: “I look forward to meeting attendees and to sharing my experiences and insights. After spending 27 years working in the corporate world, taking the plunge to start my own business was definitely a challenge and I’m very proud of the team and our achievements.”
He added: “The rapid growth and success of Anesco has been down to a number of factors, including thinking and acting big. Business is often over complicated, so for me it is the simple things that make the biggest impact – having a good business that has a great product or service, employs the best people and has the best market knowledge.”
The ACCA Business Growth Summit is taking place on Wednesday 12 November at The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP from 9am-2.45pm. For more information visit http://bit.ly/1ndxJT4
