Gas and LPG installations (boilers) and the Gas Safe Register

Gas and LPG installations (boilers) must be notified to the Gas Safe Register by the Gas Safe registered engineer that installed the boiler within 30 days of the installation.

Gas Safe will then issue the Building Certificate to the customer and notify the local authorities building control department.

If the boiler installation is not registered with Gas Safe, it will not meet building control requirements and is therefore not PAS compliant.

Please be aware that any measures that are not PAS compliant will be at risk of rejection.

Additional Information on Gas and LPG Boiler Installations

Further information about registering new boiler installations and access to the register can be found on the Gas Safe website: https://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/
