Land at Blackpark Farm, Nairn
The site is a greenfield site which is currently in agricultural use and is located c.800m to the south east of Nairn. It extends to c.3.2ha, and is bound to the north east edge by a substantial belt of forestry. The north west and south east boundaries are defined by post and wire fencing associated with the edge of the existing field. The south western boundary is currently undefined.
The surrounding area is semi-rural in nature, with open agricultural land interspersed with occasional farm buildings and residential dwellings, as well as forestry located to the south, east and west of the site. Grigorhall Industrial Estate is located less than 100m to the north of the site. Reference should be made to the location plan on this consultation website to see the full extent of the site.
The above site boundary included in this consultation encapsulates more land than it is anticipated will be included within any site boundary for a forthcoming planning application, to ensure any potential revision in the site boundary is covered due to ongoing design evolution and land negotiations.
